Digital collage incorporating original photography and scanned monotype

In this work, the hand drawn forms move across the photograph like changing thoughts, shifting and reshaping as they overlap the memory beneath them. Their rounded, almost molecule like structures suggest something constantly in motion, with one form growing inside another. Rather than representing anxiety alone, the drawing reflects the way thoughts can multiply and interfere with a memory, even when they are not necessarily negative. Their movement creates a sense of mental overflow, where the mind becomes crowded and the original memory is experienced through everything that surrounds it.
