Silent Ripple continues Alexandra’s exploration of the movement and accumulation of emotions. Created during moments of stress and uncertainty, the work became a way of slowing down and navigating thoughts that otherwise felt difficult to contain. Blue appears repeatedly in her practice for its associations with calmness, openness, the sky, and a sense of the infinite. Here, the colour becomes both a visual and personal point of stability within the changing flow of emotion.
